Event Coordinator Arlington Heights

The Assistant Event Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Cooper?s Hawk Brand, Communication, Culture and Values through on- and- off-site events. Earn up to $16/HR based on experience!
Major areas of responsibility include:
Schedule and facilitate planning and execution of Cooper's Hawk events.
Communicate and execute event timelines
Possess outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Uphold excellent verbal and written communication to guests, restaurant, and management team members.
Answer and process all guest requests for special events
Requirements:
Must represent Cooper?s Hawk Vision and Values
At least 18 years of age
Weekend Availability
Prefer a minimum of one (1) year Event Coordinator/Sales experience in a restaurant
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment preferred
Ability to write business correspondences and set up contracts and Banquet Event Orders
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to professionally present promotional materials to prospective customers, and to effectively communicate and coordinate with staff
Loves Guest service!
Hard-working, team player
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper?s Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
Ideal candidates will have experience working in high volume restaurants. We are looking for team-oriented people that are dedicated to superior service and quality.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
