Job Summary
Act as an integral point of cross-site support for Leadership teams located in Arlington Heights, Illinois and Portland, Oregon. You will be accountable for a wide variety of analytical, administrative, and secretarial duties including responsibility for coordination of actions and projects. Additionally, you will be supporting the Senior General Manager in organization performance improvement, policy implementation, and all administrative actions. Work assignments are confidential and complex in nature, where considerable judgment, tact, creativity, technical skills, and initiative are required in all activities.
Your Challenge
Act as the liaison between senior leadership, managers, and visitors; review meeting requests, schedule appointments and meetings as they arise
You will be tasked with keeping abreast of business addressed to GM and assisting with timely information and data gathering, as well as follow-up on all issues
Compile data for various time-sensitive reports by coordinating, gathering, and analyzing with various business tools such as Intranet and SharePoint sites, Internet, Network, and Microsoft programs
Draft confidential correspondence and reports. Edit documents, as needed
Coordinate and host site visits for customers, executive, and management to the facility
Maintain action register and manage assigned to-do's and follow up action lists - projects, objectives, delegated assignments
Create complex and savvy PowerPoint and Excel presentations
Extensive electronic calendar management
Establish and maintain hard-copy and electronic filing systems as required
Functions as the central contact for department or business group meeting agendas, schedules, and action notices as needed.
Coordinates administrative and logistical details associated with the day to day operations of the business groups.
Your Expertise
Superior organization skills with attention to detail; ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive/confidential information
High proficiency Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
Ability to anticipate and take independent action on handling requests; determine the appropriate course of action, intervene where necessary
Education / Training
Degree or diploma in business, marketing or administrative field
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a fast-paced administrative or office management role
High proficiency in Microsoft products:
Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Excellent decision-making capabilities with ability to act on behalf Senior Management on issues within the scope of the position
Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and understanding of confidential nature of daily tasks

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
